Kasey von Kaub is a soulful, 2-year-old, coated German Shepherd with an endearing personality. She is unsure about where she is and needs time to understand her new situation. She is most comfortable beside people who give her the reassuring affection that she needs now. She knows her "sit "well and very gently accepts treats.  Her leash manners are excellent though she stays very close to her handler. She walks slowly and, though she is fine walking with other dogs, she doesn’t yet care to socialize with them. In playgroups, as with all these new experiences and environments, she is initially hiding behind the people who might provide those reassuring pets. Venturing away from the humans, she does make friends with calm dogs such as herself, but definitely avoids the pushy, high-energy pups. (She's a no for cats.)
